siku massey ferguson 8270 xtra conversion

done this convo before,but sold it,this convo is for me,same as before,remove beacons and have one beacon on side of cab,flat black paint on the front mudguards,glaze doors and add interior door grab rails,cab roof aerial,and one thing i didnt notice before was siku had the front weights set way to low,so ive allready put that right,just stripping her down,also removed mirrors and will have the correct mirrors to fit and exterior cab grab rails

some pictures of the raised front weight,siku had it fixed much to low,first picture of where siku had it,second picture where it should be and next pictures of it fixed in the right place

glazing done for the doors,nothing fancy used ,just a supermarket tomato container,but its cut very tightly so i dont have to glue it

and the interior door grab rails,again nothing fancy,just paper clips

some work done on the cab,cab interior grab rails fitted and painted,glazing fixed,beacon fixed and aerial fixed and painted,also front mudguards painted,thats it for today

Were did you get the warning decals from mate,they look well.

Very nice work Paul as usual, taking a standard model and really enhancing it. I night have missed it but have you painted over the Herman number plate on the top of the cab at the front?

Ol,on this mf they are by siku,but on my other mf's henri walker does them

i decided to do the mirrors and cab grab rails myself,a big thankyou to jack_c for all the measurements of the mirrors and a big thankyou to agri-modelz who kindly gave me some brass rod,the mirrors were white metal ones from henri walker and then made up with brass rod,just going to paint them now,just got to source or make the indicator/side lights and the worklights

i was going to break a uh mf 6290 for the sidelights/indicators and work lights,but a very expensive way to do it,so ive made some,just from a back of a birthdaycard,i used that to stick to the back of the lights and stick to the cab grabrails,the lights are actually britains brown fencing,cut to size and painted
