Hywel
I am very proud to have now pulled my first silage trailer. Was put on the job yesterday after milking drawing 3 loads of clamped silage 6 miles to our other farm (I work for them). I was really glad to get the experience in now rather than when it will be flat out in the summer etc. Got used to the braking and also the weight...was quite heavy. Here is a picture attached - MF 5465 with 16ton Dooley with hydraulic door - note silage sides are currently off.

Hywel
Thanks guys. Yes had done stuff before with bale trailers for a local farmer (helping out) but never a trailer you can't see past and never on the road. It went good. Think I am on the job again tomorrow after morning milking which i will happily accept...one thing..it flt heavy without silage sides..wonder what it will feel like with fresh grass in there with silage sides flowing over the top. Will have to wait and see. The trailer was good too...like the look and feel of the dooley trailer.

Well Hywel the MF5465 would be abit light for that size of trailer in my eyes but when your at the silage it should be nice fluffy grass which will be lighter than clamped sliage best of luck would like to see more pictures of that Massey please
