new britains ford front axels

guys, has anyone tried to fit a front axel of the current ford 6600 / 7600  bubble cabbers onto the older ford 5000/7600 chassis yet?? just wondering if they do just swap over or i need to work on one to stear from the origonal ford 7600 donor i am using, going by pics the chassis appear to be the same but i cant tell for sure

Yeah Sean its a straight swap I took apart my 7600 to get a better lock on the axle and the casting is much the same It should fit straight.
