Ros NEW HOLLAND T7.250 & Toolboxes

Recommended Posts

I decided to buy another toolbox at Spalding with the intention of putting it on the front of a ROS NEW HOLLAND.

But instead of getting a T7.270  I wanted the more popular but less powerful T7.250  (200hp)  which SD Frater had in stock.

The T7.250 differs from its bigger brother by not having a rear wheel bar axle as standard  which is where a set of UH T6090 wheels come in as these style wheels are popular on the longer wheelbase T7s ^-^   and allow for a straight switch of tyres as they are a perfect fit.

I also picked up a new T7.270 for £25 :of  off one of the dutch guys at the show which was an absolute bargain for a model which is only second to the earlier Wiking tractors (Fendt 900,800)......................The ROS T7s  are certainly a cut above the latest Wiking offerings (JD 6Rs)

I picked up some JD transfers for the JD toolbox which I had repainted green in readiness.

Very pleased with the blue rig which looks great  and will do some kind of convo on the T7.270 when I take it out of its box.

I just wish ROS had made the T6090/7.210s and not UH :-  as ROS are definately a league above UH with their blue offerings.

Thanks for the kind words guys, I bought the two boxes of Agrium but he told me at Spalding he was packing up his business due to not enough time, which is a shame.

I also bought a JD tombstone weight of him which now sits on the 7530 :)

I rate the ROS T7s very highly, they are well made, very accurate (unlike UH)  the front linkage is superb with a good range of movement, you get a smart front weight and the option of an A frame as well.   The rear link is functional and works better than it looks,  the tow hitch has no height adjustment (neither has wiking 6Rs) so thats one negative,  cab detail is very good, standard wheels and tyres are excellent even though I swapped wheels with a 6090 which was very simple and effective convo.

And the steering lock is top drawer ,something UH could do with improving................The NH colour blue is just fantastic (my favourite)and ROS have done a great job in replicating it (unlike UH again >:( )  and finally the New Holland decals on all current models look ace :)   much nicer than the previous boring yellow ones IMO.....snazzy and tasteful me thinks 8)    so that would be 9/10

Other top brands In comparison... Wiking John Deere 6210R would be 7/10 (although my mods and hours of work made it a 9/10)  UH MF7624  8/10  mainly because steering lock is sh1te ::) especially with modified big boots I stuck on it :-  ......................UH CASE Puma 4/10 Criminally inaccurate :police: .....................Wiking Fendt 939,828  10/10  spot on.

Likeing your t7 on the different rims.

I have to agree with bluegreen these nh's are spot on, as good as a wiking model,I regret selling my t7070 now

I sold my T7070 in January  mainly cos I dont see many..................then blow me down two of the local farms go out and buy a T7270 & T7260 and now Im seeing them regularly :)  the 7270 has the rear wheelweights and an interesting "A" frame front linkage with a mix of old weights on it, including the JD7000 series it replaced ::)

Ive got pictures and am already started on a replica convo of it 8) ............so that"ll be back to two NHs on the carpet this summer ;D    I got bored with the Fendts and have just kept the 828 and the MFs were hired in for one season only so its back to Blue Green (& yellow)
