super6
Not a Cat but interesting.... My initial reaction to this was ............. that was a nasty accident My French is pretty much non existent, can order a beer though, so have no idea what he was on about. I can only assume that it is, for want of a better expression, home made, I've remembered now.........farm workshop created, with the rear wheels stopping it from falling over. What's mounted on the half a loader arm, looks to be some kind of mower/chipper?
catkom3
I posted that up on Saturday,if you click the caption's button on the YouTube screen you can get an English translation, still doesn't help much though, http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/topic/20997-now-thats-different/ Regards Joe,

Perhaps they hire them out if they're seasonal machines?

Guest
Hi -- to be honest theres a good mix of smaller tractors you know the 80hp up 150 hp -- I do love the big stuff my self if i m honest - i think its due to only driving 100hp tractors & below i ve got some pics of the more common sized kit just to keep you all happy East yorkshire is mainly arable / a few pigs ( Animals ) too -- but if you drive in to north yorks / west yorks / south yorks you ll see many smaller farms / tractors / cows & the like
Jdeere6910
Round our part of east Yorkshire we have a lot of suckled cows as there is a lot of heavy land. Go east there is a lit of large farms and the same to the south. We have quite a few small farms, David aka Walterderwent has a habit of finding the classics. We can't compete with the Challengers 590mf finds though.
Guest
True 6910 We dont see many cattle in the fields here by the main roads but if you go on too the smaller quiter roads like where you are do see more -- I ve worked on 3 farms & we kept cattle on all 3 - none of them had much grass land they d go on the river banks for the summer / or we ed rent odd bits of grass here & there - We get them back in too the sheds in backend & fatten them up the old kind of way , loads of barley , roots any thing they d eat -- but the boss would buy in maybe 100 + young stock each year it help to keep me out of trouble in the winter -- 6910 have you seen the Highland cattle at the big pond on way too Hook ? ?
