Hinges for plasticard gates

You could try what I have done in the past with Britains lead gates and posts hinges. Drill a tiny hole in both the gate and the hanging post where the old hinges would have lined up, cut a short length of brass or steel wire of the desired diameter to fit tight in the drilled post and bend to a right angle to form the hangers, push into the drilled hole after applying a spot of super glue in the holes. For the gate, use the same brass or steel wire and with a small pair of pointed nosed pliers form a ring eye one end of the wire and fit into the gate end the same as the post.

There are hinges ready made out there from aircraft wings, I can't for the life if me remember the name of them but I have some.... in the attic! There are two or three different sizes and types, grey plastic. The only trouble I found was they did not glue very well with the glue I used anyway :of
