What do you have for silage this year?

My contracting fleet is called Barr contracting. They have:

Jd7530 on 16 ton Kane half pipe

Jd6920 on 16 ton Kane half pipe

Valtra n121 on 16 ton Kane half pipe

Claas 657 on a 16 ton Kane half pipe

NH t6020 on a 14 ton marshton

Jd 8360r on joskin silo space

Mowers:

Jd6210r on Kuhn butterfly

Jd 8360r on krone easy cut trailed and vicon front mower

Jd5820 on jd535

Harvesters

Deutz fh900 on deutz k110

Pit machinery

Jcb 416s

Jcb tm310s on redrock

New holland 110-90 and grays buckrake

Forage wagon on valtra c120

And a young boy carts in his restored ford 6600 and single axel class trailer

This year down in the Valley, there isn't much change from last year........the 1/32nd fleet consists of.....

 

Ford 7810 on Kuhn mower conditioner,

Ford 7600 on 2 rotor Claas rake,

NH 2305 self propelled chopper,

Ford 6640 on an 8 ton Marshall trailer,

Ford 7740 on a 10 ton Marshall trailer,

Ford 7810 on a 10 ton Marshall trailer,

County 1174 buckraking,

 

Ford 7610 as a spare tractor and 8 ton Marshall as a spare trailer, and Reco trailed chopper in case of epic meltdown of the 2305!!

 

 

1/16th fleet,

 

Ford 7000 on Tarrup 1500 single chop,

Ford 5000 on trailer duties,

NP super major on the buckrake (which still isn't built yet!!)

and 2x  4.5 ton weeks/mf silage trailers

 

Blue power all the way this season :)

  Theres some £££ tired up there lads & lass es in them yard  set ups  with all that  grass cutting kit  &  i  hope the grass keeps growning +   dont really see much grass cutting  here at Goole &  grass lands tend to be smaller sized fields as in the old days  & less blue power please ::)  if not red then green at lease   :-*  :-*  :-*

My 2013 fleet for this year is a purely baling wrapping operation as is the case with our own buisness and i try to replicate our contract fleet on the carpet the fleet consists of

 

 

2 tarrup mowers on a 2001 6910 and 2013 6190r

 

2 tarrup rakes a 20ft and a 30ft on a 94 8240 and 94 8340

 

a welger rp235 and mchale fusion 2 on a 2006 6620se and 2009 6830 standard

 

mchale 911bjs on a 99 6310se

 

26ft and 28ft bale trailers pulled by any of the above in free time being followed by the 6310se with the loader

Our contractor that comes to FV to put in our pit silage is running the following.

 

NH T210 with front and back Claas mowers

Ford 7810 Turbo on a Claas rake

 

JD6920s on 16T kanes x2

T6090 on a 16T kane

Claas 640 on a 16 Tkane

 

JCB 416 for the pit

 

Ourself will be running @ Foyle View

 

Fendt 820/720 (when it comes) on a JD 990 baler

MF6475 on a JD 990 baler

MF5470 on a McHale wrapper

MF3085 on a Claas rake

 

New to the FV 2013 Fleet is a 2012 MF7499 with 2013 front and back Claas mowers

abit bigger than we need but with work coming in from the contractors above they will pay there way.

 

 

We are playing about with the idea of getting a silage wagon and a new JCB 310

The contactors Bob? Do they pick up with a 4 prong pike ? :P

 

They use the JCB 416 and load it into trailers

 

They run a Kidd double chop :P they lift with a Claas 980

I'm offering a pit covering service for 2013,my Volvo cross country is full of young ladies from the Nordic countrys who go round after the jcb farmmasters and cover silage pits for a fee under the supervison of Marcus (MJB). :-*
