An Interested Spectator
Bought this trailer chassis from the last Toytrac for a few quid. Its from the old Britain's drop side trailer that came with a cow sat in it. (has anyone ever seen a cow sit in a trailer like that !!!). The chassis has four holes which can be used for locating pins. I made a body from the usual plastic card which slots on the chassis using brass wire to locate it. And then using the same principle of locating pins I made a silage top to go on the body. (This is a bit of a homage to my youth, god knows how many silage tops I made out of cardboard too go on these trailers. Please note re the cardboard, I don't know if plastic card was around circa 1969, but it certainly was not on my 9 year old radar). At some point I am going to do gain sides, and a flat bale body by the same method.
