mutley1to32
Hi folks busy building a new style cattle shed with breeze blocks, as I normally make stone affect buildings just thought I would try something different. The breeze blocks and feed passage are made from real cement. As you can see it's not finished yet but hopefully it wont be to long before it is!!! The shed measures 490mm long x 350mm wide but the base it sits on is slightly bigger. at last the photo's, thanks to brain for helping me.

Stabliofarmer
Great just great if I may I have a few questions, are those breeze blocks individual blocks, a hole slab of cement with the brick work scored in or cement laid on card with brick work scored in ? If the last how do you make the cement stick and stay level on the card ?( I struggle to keep cement stuck on card without having a very thick layer on which becomes difficult to keep smooth )Also how are the walls of your older sheds made ? Thanks very much and I look forward to seeing a masterpiece progress

mutley1to32
Hi James, Thanks for your comment, yeah I use real cement onto Balsa wood & carve the breeze blocks out, it can be quite tricky though & very time consuming but worth all the effort in the long run. Thanks for that I have another question if I may, When do you carve the block work into the cement? when its dry or while its still wet? Also do you add anything to the cement to make it easier to apply and work with ?
mutley1to32
Hi James, I carve out the stone work when the cement is roughly half way to going off. Hope that is of some help to you.
