dave the farmer Posted November 20, 2014 Author Share Posted November 20, 2014 (edited) a few pics.new calf feeder.meadow farm new cubicle shed.360 off to start grain bins groundwork.a bit of digger work.its been busy on hawthornfarms this autumn.some 4900acres of land has been planted,with 300acres of rape failed due to dry weather and flea beatle.we have got planning permission for another 1500tonne on floor store.we are also in talks with greener for life on a anaerobic digestor at meadow farm.and also looking into a solar panel system on some sheds and possibly on some land.at the moment the farm crew are hedge cuttin,muck carting,and doing grounds work for grain store.also cartin slurry to a number of our above ground slurry stores we have around our own farms and contract ones too.
