Looks good Robbo, it's a shame we cannot go to Zwolle this year I hope you are all keeping well.
robbo
As mentioned in the Minitrac topic the long awaited Samecar models arrived today. I have the "collectors pack" which has all 3 versions included. It has the standard version in both 2WD and 4WD plus the Cebeco version that was also called the Elefante
robbo
They all have rear linkage but it is for show only, you wouldn't want to be mounting anything, they are far too fragile
robbo
Then finally in their display position
robbo
Whilst on the subject of Samecar, a bit of an appeal. I was sent a photo of a plastic model some time ago, possibly by a member on here. I have never seen this anywhere else despite hunting at every show that I go to (Sean and David as well). Keep you eyes peeled please and if you see it just get it and I will sort out payment asap

Thanks Joe, good price for one of them phew, 544 Euros for a 1/43 model. I suspect that the Samecar version is older, rarer and even more expensive

robbo
Another arrival to add to the rare and unusual SAME models (that nobody else wants). In all my years of collecting SAME models I have only ever seen 1 other of these and that was a really tatty model in an auction that I didn't see until the bidding had ended. This one is unboxed but in mint condition. A Verve Same Panther 90 in plastic, very light with no metal parts but I had to have it, you know what it's like.

I remember having one off them that came with a green 4 wheel trailer in my younger days. Many a day on a heap off sand in our back yard I played with it along with a a few Tonka machines.. 😁

Popular Post robbo
I have now got round to getting the first of the Same Laser and Galaxy models out of their boxes. I managed to source an original Laser badge which, although slightly damaged, does set the shelf off nicely. I will be adding the Laser Mark 2 and possibly the Lambo and Deutz versions at Zwolle to fill up the shelf.
Popular Post robbo
Bit of an update for the Laser shelf after the Zwolle show. I am still missing the Lamborghini and Hurlimann derivatives but they will hopefully come along later this year

Popular Post robbo
Just packing up the display case ready for a house move so thought I would share these models from Yaxon and Polistil. Buffalo 130 with loader, Buffalo 130, Galaxy 170, Tiger 100 and Trident 130. As one or two are aware the only one missing from this lineup is the Buffalo with a blue plastic loader rather than a metal one, I have only seen one in photographs but in 20 years of collecting it has so far eluded me.

robbo
I moved house earlier this year and the entire collection had to be removed and packed away. This week's job was to unpack and get them back on display. First glass cabinet with rare Same models
robbo
Then the main Billy bookcases (from Ikea). Top shelf is the Hercules variants and the second shelf is Laser derivatives followed by Explorer and Antares. Then Lamborghini shelf followed by a Deutz shelf
robbo
Next set are the other marques, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Fiat, Zetor and David Brown. The one thing that is not in my collection are Ford's as I have never driven or worked on them, (sorry Justy)
robbo
I haven't put everything out as I wanted to leave room for any future purchases as both Spalding and the LCN show are coming up and I have a shopping list 😁
robbo
I also have some Country Artist models The pewter Same 360 was only ever given to dealers for their sales figures, it was never on sale to the general public
robbo
As well as models I also have some drawings by Ian " Tractorsketch" Leather. The individual Same sketches were commissioned by my daughters for my 60th birthday after which Ian then combined them into his triple pictures. Although the Italian brands are my favourites I am not averse to other colours as you can see
