the second item of the buy was this, now i assumed this was a respray, but now i have it,i have had a real good look, and i can not see its been apart, its got no signs of red paint under the blue where its chipped, and i have had a test underneath in a  corner ,and same, blue comes of and bare metal under it. the rear part isnt bent ,a normal sign its been apart, the tank has no signs of red where it meets the metalwork, infact when you move the tank sideways its got blue dust/staining . sadly it came with one arm, which is broken, but after some hunting round i came across this set, so i guess it could be a real one, has any one else seen or got one? the origonal red ones seem to be doing well price wise of late,so i dont want to get one for the arms if its not pucker. certainly a new one on me ,bit like the green one i have

I think you ansered your own question there Sean with the last picture. Someone on here posted a picture of that set with a blue sprayer. Have also heard of thm from another source, Brian Norman I think it was. A nice find. there is also a red version with beige arms.

either i am not looking hard enough or i am getting close to have all the items out there?. either way its getting hard to find stuff, but a new addition ,the lighter green claas tipper, with yellow hubs, original top and rear tailgate. have seen a few chassis/ bodies of this go though eBay ,but most are missing the top for sure, and usually the tailgate, so snapped this up quick when it appeared as buy now while on my mobile at work , prob would have missed it later on i suspect

The tops on these don't last long ... I have had one from my youth and since the plastic got a bit crispy, it snapped in half in the blink of an eye while refitting years later ...

some of the early ones i have do seem fragile, so i leave them on now, the box i keep them in is deep enough to do it, suspect one or two would go if they got removed mind

been a while, had this arrive while i was away, little plough in the dowdeswell green ,but with an orange wheel on it, my other has yellow fitted, pretty sure its not been apart, the wheels are pretty hard plastic and break easily if you try to remove them, anyone seen one before

I recently discovered a difference between two green and yellow Ford 6600s. Not only a slight colour difference. But also one seems to be made with the 6600 that was sold with the yardscraper (had holes for a rollbar) and the other misses the holes for the rollbar. 06A2DA81-3EB7-4E93-9E9D-55503ACAAC8E.thumb.jpeg.4b15a1d31b302b1ba28a52d3edf6cac0.jpegD06D50C8-7DE3-4097-88C4-ACB298AFE181.thumb.jpeg.808fab4317214dc78f0e561c0a7cc70f.jpeg9E80BBC7-0985-42D7-A8E4-4A59944B38C7.thumb.jpeg.f7ee9f9228655846649bcf99d748585d.jpeg

came across this on market place near by, not seen a green one with these decals fitted, only ones i can remember having these are the ford blue one and the deutz green set.

the green doesnt seem as dark as the normal ones ? seems lighter ,but not the lime green  that i already have , need to get in the loft and put them side by side
