robbo
I assume that is the one I mentioned to you last week? I thought it looked different to the others
Tractorman810
yes mate, was watching it already as i noticed the ends looked different, its always hard to tell as some people over light the pictures, others go to dark.as with all these variations its a risk at times via ebay
Tractorman810
latest addition ,another roller ,solid later roll parts ,in a blue fordson shade?? , have the frame in this colour with the older rings in yellow and red already ,but so far i havnt seen a set of discs in this shade of blue . I really must get an updated pic of all together, red ring, yellow ring and solid roll sections for ref, plus to stop me buying a duplicate set
Tractorman810
a few updated pics of everything so far ,all in matching stlyes first rollers, yellow enders inc the new lighter shade one red ended versions, seems to be far more of these round than the yellow?? no idea why so if anyone has other colours in yellow let me know then the solid roller later versions
Tractorman810
round baler, know i am missing the yellow box set version, and i guess the little farmer one, although i am not overly bothered by that, does anyone know if its decaled little farmer the small ploughs ,think i have all of these now and small green (and others) trailers, know i am missing a few here, chassis differences i know of white, black and grey metallic on the early ones, without wheel differences
Tractorman810
well lets see what debat this causes, picked these up today on ebay, was surprised i got them to be honest, certainly no where near as high as i would have gone, i have heard tail of the blue tined bomfords, but never seen one, its missing the front set,so i guess i will have decided to leave or match a replacement. as for the folding harrows, according to the seller, its got the britains markings as oer normal ones, it appears to be the lime green shade of olastic as per the mf 595 and other prototypes we have seen in the past, has anyone heard of this before ?? will post better oics when they arrive
Tractorman810
well its here, and i think i have possibally stumbled across a prototype version going by the colour of the plastic frame alone, very similar to the britains mf 595 we have seen in the past. clearly marked in the plastic britains with a date of 1982 . the tines do not appear to have been off,no signs of stress inthe plastic, which from past evperiance of these always seems to show if tampered with, the red is a very similar shade as the later dark mule dozer and vicon spreaders. very even flat dull coat as per those items.no signs of a headstock ever being fitted either, the holes are spotless,no glue marks or anything
Tractorman810
also this arrived with it, sadly missing the front set of tines which is a shame, as the rest again show no signs of removal or respray, nice even flat dull coat of ford blue i think. i have heard a few rumors of this version, but never even seen even a pic of one until this ebay lot appeared, biggest question is do i try and match a new set of replacement tines or not, i do have a broken set in the shed, just a case of whether it messes it up or not ??
super6
A nice lot there Sean, don't know how I failed to see these as I bought several lots from this seller. These included several of the main frames, with and without wings one of which was in a soft brown plastic, there were no mounting holes for the tines. Some had L and R on the frames but none where marked Britains in any other way. Also included was the middle set of tines in the same red as yours. Tractorman810
ah you got that one ,i was after that to,for the brown frame, plus the dark green one appeared to be a different shade as well compaired to others,
Tractorman810
paul, it seems we may have hit lucky, even with your brown ones.apparently the seller bought these from a guy who used to work for britains,as a product developer. sadly hes not well and is selling up, the ebay seller bought a load of him. / his wife. after speaking to a few people it seems it was common for factory staff to take stuff like this home in the day. so even unmarked as such its highly likely your brown ones were test moulds or similar. along with the other bits you got
dm434
Got this hen house off eBay the other week , had thought it was a paint job but no it’s pink walls are genuine pink plastic instead of the usual white . It has green doors and has a brown roof and floor
Tractorman810
yellow version of the round balers sourced, wont bother with the little farmer one, unless one appears hellish cheap,i dont have any other bits from them like that anyway
Tractorman810
bought this of ebay.de last week, missied the postie yesterday so just picked it up. bought it for the weights really,as i asumed the wheels were painted or altered, however, another has appeared on facebook mid week, all be it boxed, with white wheels, and a white inner box wrapping, rather than yellow. has anyone seen this one before? no signs at all the wheels have been off, having done a few wider comversions i know the wheels ,more so the red lugs break very easy when you try and remove them, and theres no signs of stress marks arround them on the chassis either ,infact the red lugs still have the spru lugs on them, its just missing the decal of the rear on the hopper

Different colour to my 1st one. , & has the silver paper decal , rather than silver painted blade . That is unusual. I was sure it only came in the 1965/66 Fordson set, but the stickers didn't start appearing on the muledozer until the 1970s? Perhaps a few remaining stock were sold in early straw boxes.

Tractorman810
another trailer picked up, not seen them on blue wheels before, and on this axel set up before, its a fordson rear axel type, wheels pushed onto it,with the flat ends keeping them on,not the normal bulbus ends ,and theres a spring between the wheels and chassis on each side to keep them from wobbling?? all looks origonal to me, but as i said, never seen it before
alf aphid
That is weird, what would even have had blue wheels at the time, the bamford I suppose? Ive seen the odd one with a whitish wheel Edited November 18, 2018 by alf aphid

I am happy to be corrected, but I don't think its Britains.....
