graham
thanks for replys enjoy making the bits for the layout pete there is not much for the fruit grower or hop grower that you can purchase so having a go at scratch building ,just finished cattle building this will be to house the sussex cattle which are being wintered on neighbouring farm while building work takes place got to wait couple of weeks for internal fixings to be installed contractors are away building milking parlours ,roller shutter door works,up and down ,think the motor maybe vulnerable when straw is put in barn or got out we see the light in the yard is what you turn to make door operate the area behind the door is to for feed storage
graham
couple of pics of some bits of equipment made a narrow TE20 I know the local MF dealer called lenfild at the time coverted a few of them back in the day any way grand farther bought one and it will come out of the shed for some summer work ,made a little nurse tank for towing behind the hop sprayer everything wants to attack hops so a lot of spraying takes place each season I know not as much as you arable farmers but can be through the hop gardens 6 x 7 times a week maybe more in drought seasons just spraying water but some of the hop gardens have trickle irrigation in them so to ease that pressure ,also pic of door unit before fitting ,and pic of some fert going on in hop garden,

Deere-est
I just love not being on the forum for a few weeks and then coming back on to see your topic has been updated! You leave nothing out!! Love the fact even a key ring got butchered for the parts for the chainsaw stuff, brilliant. The trees in blossom look really, really nice and just make the layout even more of a stand alone affair compared to all the usual farm/silage scenes we get used to seeing. Good on ya, Graham! graham
not been up to much with the stocks farm of late have made a few bits for the cider harvest, a tree shaker to release the fruit from the tree ,ablower to blow the fallen fruit out in to the grass in between the row of trees ,then the winrower comes behind the blower gathering the fruit and leaving it in a row under the tractor then the elevatorbehind the tractor elevates the fruit into the trailerwe run two trailers for the harvesting , the fruit is then taken to aconcrete pad where it is tipped and then loaded on to artic for delivery to cider factory , we will not be showing dave at toytrac this year will be making a vist thou
