Michael390Turbo
First project started today. 13ft tipping trailer based on our own trailer at home. I hope to make and fit muck boards and ram. Any constructive criticism welcome. Also what way do people prepare 'stripstyrene' for good painting results?

Fenside MF
good first post, trailer looks great,i usually just use a spray primer before top coat of spray but a light rub with some wet dry paper would do no harm on the styrene if you really wanted to

Michael390Turbo
Thanks Paul, and yes mb86, fiddling round with it at the minute, hopefully it will be fully operational as the real thing, with drop sides and removable crates.
alf aphid
That is really great. Been thinking about tackling a trailer for a while. Has it been built entirely with stripstyrene? Never used that before. Is it easy to use ?

Ya all evergreen stripstyrene, Easy enough to work with on the flat, the hardest part was getting the bend right on the chassis but other than that, I find it nice to work with, when cutting or drilling go easy on it though or it will crack, I used poly-cement from an airfix pack for glueing.
