tabmodels
Forearm and head made, the head section will hopefully be interchangeable for a flail attachment. The flail folds back to an upside down position for when the whole arm is flipped to the right hand side. Some very tricky geometry up ahead and things are getting very small! It looks really good Thanks Jan! The floor is the stock floor from the Britains TW-30 model, I just painted the black lever knobs and added the throttle lever on the dash, the hedge cutter controls are mounted to the cab and it will all fit together once assembled
tabmodels
Levers installed and rods connected. Bonnet decal redrawn with more realistic shades of blue!
tabmodels
Flail head attachment, quite complicated! Getting into Swiss watch territory now Lots of tiny pivots and links but managed to get a full movement of the head including it's upside down resting position
tabmodels
Mesh guard and arm carrier, this was how the real machine was intended to be, the bonnet section will have a shield fitted afterwards.
tabmodels
Exhaust pipe protector added. The arm was always very close to the exhaust in transport position and last time we checked, TW30 exhaust pipes were not cheap to replace!
mb86
Getting there now Ian! The flail head looks incredibly fiddly but it looks faultless. Really enjoying seeing your work.

I just hope it still moves as freely after applying the paint!
