weblet375
Hi Paul. I think they are different the 4220 are more chunky if that helps.

Paul Palmer
i have not noticed that Joe,the reason for my question was to see if i could put the wheels and tyres from the 4220 on to the 3230,saving having to spray the 3230 wheels yellow
Paul Palmer
Well im going to be doing a few things to this one, euro spec placed numberplate on the exhaust will be going,50kmh sticker in rear window will also be going, and some weathering, now im not going to be back in the hobbie like i used to be,so nothing expensive, but thoughts of what to put on the back of the old girl, small dio coming up,oh, also going to do something with those headlights, anybody got a damaged or broken siku 6210R?
catkom3
I believe Paul,if you pop the lights out and remove the silver paint they look an awful lot better,?? Regards Joe.
Paul Palmer
Hi Joe,nice to hear from you,i have heard this, but i thought bluegreen scratched them doing this, unless i use nail varnish remover, the ideal answer is the lights from the siku version, hence why i asked if anybody has a broken one,but its an option Joe,thankyou
catkom3
Hi Paul,no worries, wouldn't use Acetone based nail varnish, libel to either melt them or fog them,I guess if your careful, they shouldn't scratch, but I can't say for definite,?? here's a photo of them done, Regards Joe. CX820Joe
Good to see you back Paul, and a nice tractor to fettle there. I see a lot of those around this way, I may well go for the Siku one to modify at some point, but got a few to be going on with for now,
0025
turns out I'm also working on a siku 6210r not ideal really want a 6215 but hey, it ill do for what I need! looking forward to the finished product!
bluegreen
I tried scraping the paint off but it scratches the surface unfortunately. On my last convo 6210R I bought a 6125R with loadall which has the siku lights with an improved look about them as well. And you get the folding front link arms as well, which will swap over onto the 6210R with a little modification. Looks so much better as well. I fitted the painted silver lights and rigid front links from the 6210R onto the 6125R and ebayed it for a half decent price to some unwitting mug So overall I didn't pay out too much extra for the mods. You may get a good price on the 6125R loadall version somewhere on line Paul.

Good thanks Paul, tentatively getting back into collecting - not got the room for anything display wise as yet, but hopefully can build up to it.
