tabmodels
Haven't even counted Mark! It's hard to say, everything is done in stages. The parts need to be separated for painting to make it easier to paint fully, takes 4 days for the paint to cure and then I can assemble it. Has to be glued in stages too as I could be using Araldite that takes 8 hrs or so to cure! Then its paint detailing and decals Let's just say I've been up all hours most nights! tabmodels
...And I've just discovered that the Hymac yellow I have ordered is not the yellow/green day glow colour Looks more like a JCB yellow, must be for a later Hymac. Glad I'm ahead of schedule!

tabmodels
Just now, MadMark said: Did you sort out the Hymac yellow paint Ian? I did eventually Mark thanks, found the correct paint code RAL 1016 Sulphur Yellow and getting my supplier to mix it up for me. I finished the buckets and wheels in Massey Ferguson red, I have no idea what red is actually used but I'm happy with the colour and it's very close

Yeah it was a challenge, probably up there with the John Deere 1360 mower, mainly because I didn't have a chance to get exact dimensions but I'm very pleased with how it turned out

Wheel size and the donor model, if any, also go towards giving ideas of proportion.
