Tractorman810
hi bill thanks for taking the time to answer some questions. can you tell us if there's any plans to make a decent front loader with interchangable attachments(muck fork, bucket, bale spike, ect) the list of attachments are endless really, any where in ther near future. also any plans to reintroduce a fergy tractor into the line up? sean

Guest Fendt pwr
I would like to add to that post if I may. Bill,Would ertl ever consider addjusting the front end loaders on some of the newer tractors so that you could remove the loader and put it back on when you want too, making the loader a true "clip on loader". thank you. Bill Walters
Thanks for the suggestions. We'll have to take a look at this further. Making a loader that is removable and works over several different models is a great idea. Bill
ihatepoundland
sounds good Bill this may be a silly question, but how familiar are you with the older Britains models? the old Britains loader was great in its time, a similar interchangable system would be great to see. Tractorman810
thanks for the positive reply bill,it would be great to see a good loader with interchangable atrtachments even if the removablillity part couldn't be achevied
Bill Walters
To be honest with you, I'm not that familiar. We used to do a JD tractor with a loader that had detachable accessories, but the loader itself was not detachable. Bill

Tractorman810
a quickie would be a good make j dmad, but do they have these in the states,if rc2 were to go ahead with the idea ,it would need to be a cross water make, less cost for them in manufacturing
ihatepoundland
I was going to post some pics, but then I had tea, that comes first, obviously
ihatepoundland
Above pic shows how loader attaches to casting of tractor, it would attach to nearly all tractors in the Brtiains range, indeed, many of the range still have this casting, although the design of the wieghts on the front stops it being used
ihatepoundland
The attachments, the large one is a flat 8 bale grab, which would pick up 8 square bales once they had come out of the bale sled towed behind the baler
Tractorman810
your a star ihp,i didn't fancy getting up into the loft now anyway, will buy you a pint for that

IH885XLMAN
ummm it would look good on any international ha ha! (only joking )but it is a brilliant idea to have a brand of some sort on a loader if RC were to do one like farmhand or tanco & quickie , i hope this helps rather than hinder your thoughts bill thanks again Nigel AKA tractorman
Tractorman810
with a little bit of tweeking and modernisation the old front loader base could be used, just add rams insted of the metal rod for the front and modify the way it fits to the new tractors, hey presto, would be far better to see a whole new version, but could make a tempory stop gap for the company
IH885XLMAN
are they pritty easy to get still (the old loader)
Bill Walters
This might be pretty hard to do. The OEMs get touchy when you try to add a third party loader to their tractors. They primarily want their own loaders used. Bill
IH885XLMAN
the old loader just had the "britians" name on it couldnt "RC", "britains" or "Ertl" do the same ?
