FendtFarmer Posted August 2, 2017 Share Posted August 2, 2017 Grange park Farms is situated in the vale of york near tadcaster, yorkshire With predominately sandy to sandy clay loam soils, It's a mixed which supports a 40 cow suckler herd and 560 acres of land, cropping includes: -63ac of grassland -52ac of woodland -30-40ac rented to a neighbour for sugar beet with 6ac of fodderbeet grown for us by them -30-40ac rented to another neighbour for potatoes -50-60ac of oilseed rape -100-110ac of winter/spring barley -50-60ac set aside With the rest of the arable area made up of winter/spring wheats. There is three full time staff and a couple part time workers running a fleet of jd/ford tractors with a variety of other manufactures It's also set in the early to mid 90's so enjoy!
