Janval
A while back I bought two Ford 5000s off of Ebay, missing wheels (one lacking an exhaust as well). I had wanted one of these for a while but decided to get two and see what I could do with them. Considered a tandem conversion, but landed on this instead: They're not complete yet, but the wheels are mostly done and ready for assembly, new exhaust is in place for the 4wd version. Janval
The front axles were missing as well, so I have to put in place new ones on both. The 4wd needs some modification to get the axle in place, the 2wd I expect will fit a bit smoother. None of my axles will be a straight forward fit I'm afraid, since the only thing remaining is the "steering pin" from the original ones.
justy 46
They look alittle on the big side to be 3000s ... even too big to be 4000s !!! They look to be 4 pot UH 5000s not chopped down . I would turn them into Roadless 65s if anything !!

It's of course supposed to say 5000, not 3000. However, I agree with the roadless idea. But would need some decal work as well then? (not too familiar with the roadless tractors up here). SPN
It wouldn't need decal work as it was possible to buy 4wd kits and add them at a dealer or on the farm. I remember seeing a picture of a TW30 in the USA that had an aftermarket County 4wd kit shipped over and fitted. Here's a pic of the Roadless Ploughmaster 65 by TAB Models, using the same base model you are using.

There is or was a few 6X 5000s floating around with Selene front axles ,but very rare . I would leave the 2wd dual wheel 5000 as is & you maybe be able to do Roadless PloughMaster 65 with the other one . Henri Walker would do decals & Nigel Ford might give you a front axle .. Or just leave it as a converted 5000 4wd ..
