dr-abich
Hi.While i'm waiting for decent glue for my onion picker i decided to transform 6920 to 6420. Plans for future are: front 3pt linkage, narrow tyres rear 3pt linkage. On front it should have smaller wheels. Real one have 24" those are 30" but i'm going to use narrow tyres from artisan and front ones are smaller on outside diameter.

FendtFarmer
Looks good mate, I’d maybe swap them wheels so there shallower in height and makes it look more in proportion
844john
Looks a very good job so far, as you say it will look more in proportion when it gets its smaller wheels. It's nice to see another 6420 being done, I did one a few years ago now and it's still one of my favourite convo's, I just think they are a nice looking tractor
dr-abich
John they're really nice looking tractors that's why i decided fro that little transformation ;). Little update from today. Had a very quiet day in work so spent my time on my cute short JD. Replaced wheels with row crop ones. Changed rims for steel ones. Those from artisan are crap looks all right but too weak in my opinion . I'm gonna use my models to play with my son so i need a good strong materials. I have an lathe machine so i machined some rims. Can't wait till i receive my proper yellow paint
