Laois 1:32
I've started on a SlurryKat Dribble Bar to work as a separate slurry system to the tankers. Plan is make the type with the reel and dribble bar all on the back. Then I'll make a doda pump and a few other bits. Anyway a few pictures so far. Laois 1:32
Got some of the hoses on today, I'm using green wire from a cat5 cable, it's proving to be a time consuming job as I have to unwind all the cable then straighten it then glue it on and into position then wait for it to set. I'm away this week so won't get any more done til next Saturday.
Laois 1:32
Got one half of the dribble bar done. Just tipping away on the second half. The hinging mechanism worked well without the hoses, but now that they've been added there's a lot more friction which doesn't help. Might just leave them out all the time or I'll make something to hold them in.
Laois 1:32
Got all the hoses done now. The hinges unfortunately aren't working with the hoses on, so the arms will stay out all the time and I'll use it as a model only in the field. Next job is to make and add on a reeler. Laois 1:32
Hoping to get the reeler made soon. Just wondering does anybody know what radius the reeler is? I'm short measurements for it and I'd be grateful is someone could help me out. Thanks
Laois 1:32
Eventually got the reeler made, I didn't have all the drawings I needed, so some of the pieces are slightly off by way of shape and size, but it's alright. It doesn't fold either so it's more of a static field model. It's away to the paint shop now.

Laois 1:32
Got it done today, glad to get it finished. Decals done, Red ones have faded already- picture makes it look worse. Didn't bother with hoses for the reeler as it's a model for the field. Got hoses done through the field, used a few rubber seals from wavin risers.
