bluegreen
Admittedly I have been critical of black tractors in the past...………. but due to several Valtra Ts running around on my patch now I thought I best get one. So I bought one from Pete which he had expertly sprayed and then I took it to pieces so I could add plenty more detail to it. Firstly the cockpit which I repainted darker grey and the seats dark brown. And fitted the driver in, who was more than happy to get rid of his boring JD6R and get a sexy new Valtra T Edited April 28, 2019 by bluegreen
bluegreen
Then I fitted the cockpit back into the rear fenders, the steering column and its accessory.

bluegreen
Black rims ready. Front wheels taken off a 2011 Valtra T (last one I could find anywhere) rears off a Claas 540, which are R38s which will allow me to fit chunkier tyres 650/75 R38s from a donor CASE Puma 240 model on both rears and fronts. I already had a set of Puma front tyres but am still waiting for the Puma 240 to arrive before I can fit the rears on the Valtra.
bluegreen
A bit of silver painting was required around the lights and then the bonnet got fitted.
bluegreen
Front wheels on but need to bore out the hole 1/2mm so they run freely. Cant do anymore till the rear donor tyres arrive. Dealer sticker and security sticker added.

And the Kuhn cultivator I bought to pair it with is painted and finished. Looks a pretty cool rig now
