alf aphid
This is a real long shot. I’m trying to find a feeder trailer (the type with a wooden floor then bars on the sides to allow the cattle to get their heads through) that my local farm was using. It was around in the mid 80’s at least, but I guess could have been a good bit older than that. The only really clues I have, are perhaps most significantly, it was finished in in a goldy colour and second that it was on Isle of Wight, so more than likely built in the southern half of the country, but not a given! robbo
Not entirely sure but could it be a Krone Optimat? The colour scheme would be right.

Sorry I wasn’t maybe very clear in my description. I mean a trailer type one that you park up in a field. I.e you drop the bales into it and let the cattle nosey in through the bars! Yes like this one Barry only considerably older and I’m sure tapered in lower side panels, so not absolutely square like this one, wooden floor and like I say a goldy kind of finish. Many thanks
