Martin (MB86) asked me if i'd like to partake in his local annual road run yesterday, plan was to take the 345 up for a run but seeing as she was sat in shed awaiting to be finished off, Martin kindly lent me his 4000 for the trip over the moors around County Durham and North Yorkshire (just a pity we didn't get over to Tan Hill as then would have been in 3 counties Martin) Fantastic weather for it and thanks for the loan of the tractor, next year i'll bring up and lend you the 345 ;) Some photo's to follow, was 34 tractors on the run i think but didn't snap them all.... Martin might have some more photo's to add as he took a few too, and well done to Martin's son Thomas who won his race in the run's childrens sports day :)

Very nice photos again Paul...mind, you're up in amongst some dodgy sorts when you come up here, ;),  couldn't have been a better day for it mind. I saw that little 4610 go past our spot on Saturday night, it caught my eye but then i suppose thats not surprising, considering what's sat on my bench at the moment:D

Grand shots Paul. You were very welcome to take her out on the run. Was a cracking day although a bit warm sat in a cab! I have a few snaps i will upload shortly when I have 5 mins.

No bother Martin, look forward to seeing your shots... ;) aye was a grand day for going cabless, wouldn't fancy it much on wild wet day up on those moors, but thanks again for the loan of the 4000, which by the looks of your photo i look fairly relaxed on hahah

Sure is Dave, only road I've ever driven on that has a sand trap, fine in Summer, not so clever in the winter,Do you ever grit that road,?? I used to deliver along to St John's Chapel, then make my way back home via Consell Jedburgh etc,

Regards

Joe

by looking at that picture Joe, you wouldn't think that the sand traps were necessary as it looks like a gentle slope.....as you know, it's a bit different when you're on it though. It's almost 50 years to the day since a bus suffered brake failure at the top and lost control, crashing into a row of houses on the way down and killing 18 passengers and the drivers daughter
