Hodder Valley Show 2019

Yesterdays trip to the Hodder Valley ag at Newton, didn't quite go according to plan "A" but plan "B" still made for a good day, great weather and plenty of folk about despite it being a small village Ag show, albeit last local one around our localality, but here's a few photo's of the tractor section, and a classic or two about the field, was good to be joined by Thomas Woodhouse and his 15 tractor strong roadrun from Bentham,  fans of the Serious Grass DVD trilogy would spot Tom, Oliver and Mark, off the DVD's although no big Fords in attendance this year unlike last when Andrew himself joined the run on his clean 6810, anyhow enough warbling on to some photo's  ;) First place went to a MF135,  second to the 4wd David Brown and third to the little Deere and as can be seen my 345 wasn't the only tractor there that needed a bit of help on a strap :D

Unfortunate about your Nuffield Paul but it's just one of those things, it could happen to any tractor, I hope you and David still had a good day. Thanks for sharing the pics, there had been a good selection of tractors there, I like that 95-100, bet she sounded well.

Aye Plan "B" didn't turn out too bad Martin, most probably David realised why his dad went from Nuffy to Nash and brought back all the bad memories of time spent on the 4/65.... the 95 belongs to Jack Bolton, he had the 1690 4wd on the Chipping roadrun a couple of weeks ago.  No bother for the photo's, were there many at Bowes??

A least you weren't far away from Paul incase you needed to use him as as brakes. I think he must have though he was back on my 4000 giving her the old Scandinavian flick round some of the hairpin corners.

Just one of those things, I'm sure everyone still had a good day out. There was a few there but I didn't get as far as looking round them before I had to leave, from a distance there looked to be a 10/60 and maybe a 344 and couldn't miss Steven Kearton's traction engine that looked to be very nicely turned out.
