alf aphid
Those old Lexus were a bland looking old car in my opinion not to detract from your work though, looks great!!

The cab and box body were badly damaged in transit, so I had a chassis in need of repurposing. I have another D series almost finished which is also on a modified Aoshima chassis for the same reason. More on that later in the week. I'm sorry to say it Stan, but I think the accident was the best thing that could have happened to that kit if it was to end up looking like that pic!

This is the boring old fart version of the build Martin, although I'm not sure if I'll use the wing body on the back. Because the wheelbase is so long (c.18ft) it's hard to think of a use for it that would keep it under the weight. SPN
Another D series across the line Chassis from the Aoshima kit in the photo, shortened by about 1cm. Cab and trailer body were damaged in transit. Trailer chassis will be used in the future, possibly for a flatbed. SPN
On the workbench for far too long, this 6 cylinder Super Major needs to be finished. In 1965 this was the prime mover at Miltown Farms for road haulage - milk churns, grain, straw and sugar beet.
SPN
Also on the workvench for far too long, this County Crawler needs to be finished In 1965 this was the first bit of kit operated by Miltown Plant (until someone makes a 1:32 MF 35 and/or 65 backhoe)
Popular Post SPN
But the reason for these posts is this Knock Off Back Axle (KOBA) lowloader I've just finished I've been messing around with the idea of scratch building one for years, but I recently found this 1:35 kit online and built it over the weekend. This is the combo I've been waiting for.
Popular Post SPN
I can't think of a good colour for it, so for now it sits in the dunduckety yellow of Halfords Filler Primer Really pleased to finally have one of these in the collection, and the size is just perfect for the Scaledowns

SPN
My little blitz has come to an end (for now) Still a lot of stuff on my to-do list, but delighted to have found the time to get this lot through the works, particularly the trucks This 850R has broken my heart so many times, but now it is diorama ready, even if its not perfect Would like to be able to tint the windows to match the matt black wheels and blacked out lights at some stage

It is a fabulous model, and only £20. Cheaper than the MAP header trailer. It is a knacky build with a couple of curve balls (like all good kits) but excellent quality and detail
SPN
Two quick ones across the desk today. T7.225 number 6 gets upgraded to semi rowcrops for tramline work Fronts are from a ROS T7050 and rears are inners from T7.225 number 7 which is the US variant The standard T7.225 rear wheels look good on the T6.180 Heritage Edition

SPN
Delighted with how this has turned out. Debated painting it yellow, to go with the Milltown Plant fleet of trucks and vans, but went with Toyota Chili Red in the end
