Very nice work! What's the Kaweco tanker based on Christoph?

Must have gotten your password sorted then.

Joe.

Yes looks familiar, and yes Robbo helped me back onto here thanks Joe!

Thank's a lot!

The Tank based on:

Britains Samson (chassis and wheels)
Wiking Samson (tank, rear linkage, pamp crane)
Joskin Vacu Cardo (the concave front and back sides of the tank)
Pichon (dribble bar)
And some parts made with ploy.

A lot of work.

There's certainly been some time and effort spent there!

That's some work you've done there. What would a tanker like that weigh in real life? That's massive machinery to a hill farm like us. Think it would just sink into the ground, let alone widen all the gates to even attempt to get into the fields. Great work. Nice to see the build as well. Keep up the good work.

Too many stalled projects backing up here, but wanted to get something done and finished by this weekend

Aoshima snap kit of Toyota AE86 had been sitting there looking at me for months, and now it's finished

Coming fast behind it is a 1/35 VW T3 Crewcab

Next worry is running out of a couple of key paint colours as Halford is still shut

So as the title says clear your workbench. Found my bench getting less and less space with bits I'm gathering up, to build my diorama. So made some very quick shelving out of some scrap wood out the garage. 1 across the chimney wall and 3 down the side. I'll be doing the same on the other side to keep some models that dont have boxes with them. 20200506_124417.thumb.jpg.27ef851db43ec6424d44afa093c59692.jpg

  • 4 weeks later...

Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes, and Mr Tepper makes exceedingly good Ford D series kits

This one is built on an Aoshima chassis and represents a milk churn collection truck from the late 1960s

what kit did you use for the d series then stan, they do so many , need to sort one for mine sometime  thats all .

It started life as a Yanky Mate. I'm not sure it if is based on a Hino, Mitsubishi or Isuzu.

The cab and box body were badly damaged in transit, so I had a chassis in need of repurposing.

I have another D series almost finished which is also on a modified Aoshima chassis for the same reason.

More on that later in the week.
