L33 DA17ON
Not much going on this week at greenside. We're winding down as were going to Cornwall for 5days on Saturday. So thought we would make a start on the big logs that the unimog fetched back. Farmer Simon taking 5mins... nothing new there. Mathew is giving the powerwash a test out, the vamet has a oil leak at the back end so going to get it away while we're on holiday.

844john
Thea layout's really coming along Lee. I think when farmer Simon sees the trade these breeding sheep are this back end he'll be trying to make as many of his old girls last another year as he can! Lovely job on the barn!

L33 DA17ON
So here at Greenside we've been looking to upgrade the loader tractor jd (6210) for something with a little more hp and road speed something that would pull the baler better thant the 64 or 3040. we had a 6125r on demo for a week didnt have a loader on but was given to us just to try. well we got all the silage bales in with it. But it was a little fancy for our liking. Probably just a little bit more than we were looking for. Mathew the farm worker had a call from farmer simon today saying to go to hexham and collect a john deere. Having got to everitt&Marshall there was a 6820 with jd loader waiting for Mathew to drive away. Just over 3000 hours on her. Very clean tidy tractor new tyres all round and comes with a bucket. Though we'll have to get a bracket made up to fit all our loader attachments
844john
Nice upgrade Lee! We've dealt with Everitt and Marshall for years now, it was a shame when they lost the Deere franchise, at least they've moved to Case IH so we can still deal with them! Yeah my brother deals with them they still stock parts fo the john deeres. Funny how they lost it and frank Johnstone in carlisle lost the as well. Mabie john deere pushing them to much? That's who gave us that case 135 at silage time as our 66 had brake down. The case only lasted 5 rows of mowing then a hydraulic block at the rear started to leak..
