1/32 Timberwolf Wood Chippers

Recommended Posts

While waiting for university to decide what was going to happen with my remaining assignments I cracked on with a new project.

1/32 Wood chippers, I built these with the intention of building a kit and was impressed with the time it took. Under three weeks from the first cut of card, to the first kit in a customers hand.

So started by building the master patterns, made from mountboard, cereal card and plasticard.

That was turned into a big pile of pink silicone boxes.

Pour some resin in and out came a load of fresh parts.

And then continued the throwing with some paint.

Overall pleased with the final result, and should work well in a diorama when I finally get one built up for myself. Uni deadlines have all been refinalised so I'm going to retreat to hunching over a laptop for a while, sneaking in abit of building as and when.

Thanks for looking

James

I watched the ones on Ebay as well but I've been told strict orders no more buying. Spent £300 the last 3 weeks. But I would of had the tracked chipper if I'd not of over spent. As we have a 230vtr at work. Brilliant work building them mate I'll keep a eye out for one.

Thanks very much chaps, very happy with how they've turned out! (Kits are listed on eBay now)

Brilliant James. You’ve got the knack at casting. Wish mine was as successful!

Cheers Alf, it's 8 years since I first had a go at casting so starting to become quite comfortable at it! Practise makes, well, not perfect, but far better than the first time I tried it :D
