This came into my collection recently. There is a similar yrllow one as part of the Fiat set 9591 from around 1981 with a ram head logo, but is anyone aware if they were sold on their own as 9550 with this cattle trailer logo?

I reckon not but don't mind being proved wrong :) I have never seen the yellow trailer in a normal Britains box on it's own, as opposed to Autoway box. I suspect these are Britains, doing their usual thing, using up leftover Autoway items as per the large Bauer tanker. As you are aware the cattle logo is from the Livestock truck and the Rams head from the Farm Land Rover, I had to find a picture to see what you were talking about there! There have been a few different Fiat 9591 sets over the years

I had this on my watch list too but was a bit busy to bid

Indeed, this could well be part of left over models Britains decided to put in a set. I know of a green one (in at least 3 versions), a blue one, a red one and this yellow version. They propably just swapped the Autoway sticker for a cattle sticker to make it fit into their farm models series.

Red one in set 3055

And there is the Autoway version, and the yellow one above, and I am sure there are more versions with different coloured wheels.
