Hielke Posted July 14, 2020 Posted July 14, 2020 Today i started with putting together a sheepfarm. A Britains “county gate farm” farmhouse and shed with a sheepdip and some activity around it. the coming weeks i want to make some model dry stone walls to put around the farmyard and a background. The red with white dots is a wallpaper, choosen by my youngest daughter. This room used to be her bedroog, now she had a bigger one and is this room converted in my home office and hobbyroom. 9 Quote

Yes, i try to show my Britains farmtoys as much as possible in a diorama. Without trying to make it look to realistic. My goal is to create the feeling of a shopwindow or shopdisplay from the 70’s. Hielke Posted September 5, 2020 Author Posted September 5, 2020 A small update. I recently found more sheepdogs and sheep. My daughters bought me a quadbike with sheeptrailer and i finaly Made a start with a dry stone wall. Also was lucky to buy some cheap sheep and got some rabbits and a few hares with them aswell, a nice adition to the scenery. 7 1 Quote
Hielke Posted September 26, 2020 Author Posted September 26, 2020 Recently bought i some extra sheep. The contractsheperd is checking them in a new field. This nice field is just around the corner of a other farmyard. Meanwhile the tups are brought in for dipping. 6 1 Quote

Hielke Posted January 1, 2022 Author Posted January 1, 2022 (edited) Finally took the time to make a yard for the Britainsfarmbuildings. Concrete floors in the sheds, strawbedding for the cows and sheep. Edited January 1, 2022 by Hielke 6 Quote
Hielke Posted January 8, 2022 Author Posted January 8, 2022 The recently purchased Britains Riding stable (1967 version) deserved a small farm lay-out. No yard or road at the moment. If i’m pleased with the way it looks, the yard and road will come. 3 Quote

Hielke Posted April 13, 2024 Author Posted April 13, 2024 Not a big diorama. But a small base just to fit this Ford 7710 with a chafer. Quote
