Looking good so far, having a 1:1 scale version should make life easy/easier too

What Imber should have made in the first place, methinks.

No worries John, good to see you made a start, i didn't think you'd get going so quick with it :)

i actualy striped the two chassis last sunday  after we got back from the run and did a bit more yesterday paul but it will probably take me a few weeks though:)

Thanks paul yes it does make it easier when i can just get the tape measure against the real one to check things.

Yes have to agree paul think imber should probably have started with the 6 cylinders first

Looking forward to seeing this progress. In terms off the chassis.. Could a UH 7810 chassis be used and top it off with Imber cab and extended bonnet.?

cheers justin, possably could have used a 7810 chassis i do have one but i just thought the cab and bonnet would fit back on nicely rather than having to make them fit also i wanted every thing to look right were a 7810 chassis and engine would be wrong, i know people tend to go with a uh valtra but i thought id try and extend a imber 6640

Bit more done today. try'd to find best trye/wheel options gone with the rear wheels and tryres of a uh valtra c and the original front wheels of the imber 40 with the tyres of the valtra only thing is the tyres look a bit plastic. I had to make the diameter of the front wheel a bit bigger to fit the tyre. Ive raised the cab slightly to fit the bigger wheels and started to extend the bonnet

Looking good John,You can easily take the shine off plastic looking tyres with a blast of Plasti Dip,latex rubber in an aerosol can,it aint cheap but it works a treat,

Thanks Joe does it add any thickness to the tyres or is it like paint
