Daniele Posted August 2, 2020 Posted August 2, 2020 Hi everyone, I know you guys are used to huge tractors and crops, but where I m from in northern Italy, little town 2.000 mt above sea level, we don’t have crops. Work is very much seasonal, in summer we cut trees and get the wood ready to be burnt in the winter, so from the woods it need to be brought back to the house. If you have a tractor fine, if not u d call someone who has , give them 50 quid and a beer and they ll come and help load and take the wood down, For these things tractors can’t be very big, streets leading up into the mountain woods can be narrow. Those who own a tractor , to make a leaving in the winter are probably going to work to clean the streets from the heavy snow. Then there are those who own a mini tractor, like goldoni, that will come and go up and down the woods multiple times as this tractor is not big enough to cargo all the wood. i may put some more pics if I can for looking.
GPS Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Great photos Daniele! Before covid I used to visit Northern Italy at least once a month, to Poirino, just outside Turin for meetings. Also used to regularly travel the Turin / Milan / Bologna “triangle” visiting CNH, Landini and SAME. Its a beautiful part of the world you live in.

L33 DA17ON Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Some great shots there mate. Looks a lovely place. That snow wish we had winters like that. Just because we could guarantee and put more money into the gritting and snow clearing side of things. Big tractors with snow blades.
