Building 1/32 farm gates

Hi. Just started in modelling and wondering if any advice in making model 5 bar steel gates. Don’t really want to buy as hoping to be able to make a lot of elements and very expensive if have a few gates to do. Appreciate any advice and tips. Thanks

Styrene tubes will give you a good finish. If you want round tubes I just use kebab skewers or smaller cocktail sticks. Then just use a thin strip of plastic for the strengthening bits for old wooden gates I just use wood strips I've cut loads of sizes it's cheaper than styrene but you have to sand it before you spray them.
