sipher172 Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 New Ray make this set, it is a US style grain trailer but would have thought about the only age appropriate trailer you will find. Not sure if they do the grain trailer and lorry by itself, as the combine is a bit dodge.
sipher172 Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Only other options would be these. Not sure if it is possible to by the Siku trailer by itself. Then the MAN isn't a Semi, but maybe age appropriate.
CX820Joe Posted December 5, 2020 Posted December 5, 2020 Back in the day, the Britains Magirus Deutz tipper was my grain lorry
Tractorman810 Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 I suspect it would need to be a custom built job, maybe try james tepler on here , hes on facebook as well , we had a leyland constructor back in the day , single rear axel with a steel body, and when i grt round to it the layout will have one of james ford d series kit on it
SPN Posted December 6, 2020 Posted December 6, 2020 The MAN posted above is probably the best bet, or maybe this ERTL set if you can live with a bonnet. https://daltonsfarmtoys.com/shop/type/implement/1-32-peterbilt-model-367-straight-truck-w-grain-box-grain-bin-grain-auger/ James Teper is the only person making proper artic grain trailers, and he doesn't make them nearly often enough. The SIKU Schmitz Cargo-Bull pictured above is available seperately, but I think it is something like €85 to buy.
alf aphid Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 Thanks all, yes, I think he may have to go without a grain lorry this year! Funny in 40 years no one has really made one ! (Covering his and my childhoods!)
catkom3 Posted December 7, 2020 Posted December 7, 2020 There is a Danish web used to do kit's for trailers, But I've just checked his web site and Facebook page, There are still photo's on Facebook, But nothing on his web site they looked the part but not your usual UK spec trailers, https://modeltraktor.dk/ Regards Joe.

Thanks Joe, he’s only 3, I think it might not survive! Thanks anyway for looking it up
Stabliofarmer Posted December 8, 2020 Posted December 8, 2020 Thank you for the recommendations folks, but I can manage to break my models moving them around the shed, so I doubt they survive a three year old. It's a tricky one Al and your the second person in not so long to ask me, my recommendation would have to be the Siku halfpipe, it's the only thing I can think of on the market that would put up with the level of play you'd expect from a three year old.
and2go Posted January 30, 2021 Posted January 30, 2021 Not much good to you now, but if not looking for 100% accuracy, could you bodge something with Lego and then paint it/decal it? Britains Marston body, or siku claas trailer body, and a Welly cement mixer chassis (2 screws hold the mixer on) might work depending on how much you trust him.
