Tractorman810
that construction ones prime for a bulk feed blower , i have seen two or three down this way recently on my travels, round the somerset area, they do stand out compaired to your normal chassis you see on them. prob a lot better for rough access to some farms truth be known . does he do any others brand wise?? older stuff maybe . or is tat your next challenge, your own 3 d printed cabs . I believe they're resin printed Joe, much smaller layer height than fdm. 6 minutes ago, Tractorman810 said: that construction ones prime for a bulk feed blower , i have seen two or three down this way recently on my travels, round the somerset area, they do stand out compaired to your normal chassis you see on them. prob a lot better for rough access to some farms truth be known . does he do any others brand wise?? older stuff maybe . or is tat your next challenge, your own 3 d printed cabs . Yeah thinking a blower or an 8 wheeler muckaway tipper for the G series. I think he's done a few other stuff, Merc Arocs, Iveco S Way etc. They're designed Siku Control as that's what he specialises in.
catkom3
FDM are all about slicer settings, something that is way above my head, nice to see they are right hand drive. Regards Joe
Stabliofarmer
I still don't think they'll get close to the finish of resin. Yes very pleased with the RHD, a special request and the first in the UK. Wanted something alittle different when everyone gets the Marge R Series in the summer.
catkom3
Your right of course, Resin will always be better than FDM, But things have moved on a pace in FDM printing in the last 5 / 6 years, but this video, sorry it's 27 minutes long, this guy knows his stuff, Slicer settings for War Game figures. AndyB
A few of these have turned up today, for once the courier hasn't used the cases as footballs! As we all know they are not 100% accurate, but nice to have.

Popular Post Stabliofarmer
Today's arrival, a Tayumo 1:32 Land Rover Defender 110. Overall a nice model, when I find my Britain's defender I'll get some comparison shots but first impression is that the scale is bang on, visibly larger than the Bburago model. All doors open with no huge panel gaps when they're shut, and it's a nice weighty model with the combination of diecast body and the electronics inside for the lights and sound. Only drawbacks for me are: The wheels are terrible, basically just black rubber bands with very unrealistic tread. The tinted windows look great as a 'boss's' truck, but will look out of place on a farm truck.
Tractorman810
Looks nice, think i would be hacking that back off and going for a 110 crew cab pickup looking at it
catkom3
I would like one of those myself, mainly because they are 1/32nd scale, and strangely enough Dutch, But no doubt made in China, does that horrible looking roof rack come off, will it leave holes,?? Regards joe.

catkom3
Thanks James, I see the roof is black though, might be easy to hid them then, Regards Joe,

Popular Post sipher172
Really wanted one of these for a while, but couldn't justify the big ticket price. Found one going cheaply, so made my first purchase of 2021. Now at least I have something to go with my Bailey High Lift Trailer. 9
