Roy approached me at the last show held before covid and said he'd like the tractor go come back to its home as a tribute to my dad, but knowing that John was a large collector of Britain's Ford's, we agreed that it could have a home in a collection where it would fit in well and also I'm sure my dad would appreciate Johns collection seeing as he was a big fan of Ford and Fordson tractors himself

justy 46
The first Britains 6600 is one off my all time favourites as it was my first ever Britains toy tractor I got as a young lad. It came in a box set with the green 4 wheel trailer. . Off course it got a hard life and did not last long in my hands as a 3 year old. I remember getting the 6600 and yard scraper a few years latter. A few off the other Britains tractors I had in between TW20, MF595 dual wheel, a Fiats and Deutz also. But the 6600 is the one that is special to me. So enjoying this tread alot. Keep the pics rolling.

jmd
Britains ford 7710 in first box same as TW20 box but just saying ford tractor on box end and not Tw20 although i think you can get the 7710 in a TW20 box 2nd version box change 3rd version box change again 4rth version box change again. This box was used for other britains tractors in the range so the box art was altered slightly and the ford was dropped off the box as of the previous version 5th version is a cross over model using 5610 bonnet and the box is slightly different having the window centralized 6th version is another cross over model having an unglazed super Qcab and box same as above

jmd
Britains centenary model based on the 5610 2nd version with blue chassis not sure if these are genuine but have seen quite a few over the years 3rd version with black chassis i suspect this is a conversion as the chassis looks to be a genuine black rather than painted [but have seen one or two others ]so that would mean using an autoway but they were discontinued long before these came out but i like the look of it in black Britains 7810 silver jubilee conversion Britains millennium conversion
