CallumC
Thought I’d start a topic for my old home made sheds. ive recently brought them out of the loft and started giving them a bit of a refresh. Most of them will be for my son if he’s interested in farming (hopefully he will be if not then Atleast they are tuned up for sentimental value ) ive started with a couple of sheds my late grandad made me when I was around 6 or 7 they have served me very well but thought it would be nice to Finnish of the wall paper

CallumC
Next on the list is this lot These shed were build by my dad the such type barn has a removable back wall and double front gates that hinge on bent nails. The cattle sheds a bit of a monster has double sliding doors at either end of the feed pass and a sliding door on each side. I think the sheds landed being a little posh because I had waited so long for one 😂 I remember begging for sheds constantly The polly tunnel was made by a family friend who has one on his farm. He had made one for his son and I was amazed by it so he made me one for Christmas
844john
Nice to see Callum, hopefully your son will get as much enjoyment from them as you did, certainly takes me back to my carpet farming days🙂 Looks a tidy little David Brown in the background, I’m guessing it’s one with the later type wide door cab? CallumC
Thanks. Hopefully he does it’s a David brown 996 with a vq cab dad and myself have been restoring it on and off for around 8 years. It doesn’t actually look that bad in the before picture but absolutely everything was knackered on it. It’s had everything rebuilt or replaced. Very much a labour of love

844john
She’s a very tidy tractor that Callum, looks a lovely restoration, and you’ve done a cracking job on the doors! We had an 885 with that cab up until about 30 years ago ( that’s frightening, it doesn’t seem that long!), was a nice little tractor in its day👍

The pto clutch on the lever is a nice feature. We have repaired the loader for it but haven’t painted it yet. It’s one of those projects that always gets put on the back burner

CallumC
Set some time aside and got a couple sheds finished last week I think they look smart enough now. Hopefully do my son well when he’s a little older. Multi purpose shed, small sloped roof shed and a loading ramp
