Nice set up there Smithy! Looks a tidy little tractor on the baler, is it an 856?

82 is a cracker @justy 46, if the trailer had been a bit older it could easily have been a scene from the late 80’s or 90’s

Brilliant photos @smithy there is still a lot still to harvest up here.

@trigger82like John said, very tidy combine, what year was it built? It’s good to see them still earning a living and being looked after.

off for thatching once its been through the thresher i guess, as you say, not a common sight now,  saw a field  like it this way a couple of years back, before that prob 6/7 years ago up suffolk again.

Thanks John ,yes the two of us soon covered a bit of ground and was able to cart most of them in daylight ,we just had to leave the full trailers at the farms we was delivering to and pick them up empty a bit later on ,so after taking out 2nd trailer we could pick up 1st one to reload ,yes its a 856 ,he has only recently bought it to replace a troublesome JD that he had ,the 856 was in good order but paintwork was dull so he had a local body shop give it a respray
