PDC
I done my mate Marky proud today This afternoon I went to a farm to pick up a tow-sweep that the farmer had hired to clean the road after lifting sugar beet. I asked the farmer if I could use a tractor to back the sweeper onto my lorry He said take your pick there's 5 or 6 in the barn.......I choose a F reg Massey 3070 2wd :P

Deano MFmad
Well normal day at work until i got home. Got phone call guy at work just got smashed into head on on blind corner by a **** in a Volvo overtaking. Put van in ditch on its ribs so i went and got trailer and twenty miles later arrived on scene had to get local farmer to tow it out then hand winch it on pain with flat tyre. They should have just got a recovery lorry as it was hanging off trailer once we got it on. Right hand wheel on as it was shoved back, left hand one was just on and no more. Heard one of the police officers mention weighbridge so i made myself clear saying that it was going a mile down the road to the farm that had come to pull it out. So if they had a problem i wasn't moving now i knew i would be overload and told them i had no intention of towing it all the way home. It was tail heavy anyway superior officer said to get going no probs, thank god for a decent Bobbie now and then. He was just wanting the road cleared and i was too without any hassle. But the main thing was both ok but the guy had no mot and got charged with dangerous driving.
Simon
Had a jolly with the boss at the invitation of Land Rover yesterday to their Gaydon proving ground to play in the new RR Sport..... when we arrived they told us we'd be driving the new 3.0 TDV6 off road and had a choice of TDV8 or Supercharged for the road & track.... obviously we chose the Supercharged.... F*&% me it was incredible... how LR have managed to make a car that size do the things it does boggles the mind.... On the road it was sublime, the ride and handling was beautiful and the power delivery was insane.... and on the track it was hilarious.... we did a 0-100 [ish .... maybe a little over ] and back to 0 run which it can do in 15.9 seconds.... rattles the brain..... I SoOOOOOoo want one but I don't think it's compatible with my driving license.... nor my bank balance.... around 8.7mpg and 60 something K OTR..... Lord Ferguson
My old boss had an overfinch MKI type Rangie Rover... I only got to drive it once (I was only about 19)... I can remember sitting at a set of lights in the centre of Cambridge... bloke pulled up next to me in a souped up (nicely done) MKII Escort... I gave a little look and a blip of the throttle.. he did the same... lights go to green and I floored it... I nearly left my internal organs on the bakc seat.... needless to say the bloke in the Escort came second :D
Simon
She was a bit of a brute herself, 0-60 in sub 6 seconds, jesus it was fast, it was only fractionally less exciting than a Ferrari F360 I borrowed from a friend....

Leakeyvale
Hoping to finalise my USA trip in May. Looking better and better although the girl I was dealing with left the company and left nothing on file for me. The lady who has taken over is very efficient and knowledgeable and the train times are improving - no late night departures and no stopover in Kansas City. Also I now get the train back to Chicago at the end of my holiday and a flight home from there. Just a few minor details to be sorted and I shall be happy. Brilliant. The Tractor Twitcher
Just completed my 11th straight 5:30am start at work that included two area manager's visits a regional manager's visit and a sales conference, the result of which is some massive changes are due to be implemented in working policy, largely, thanks to the Somerfield takeover which took place last year, i'm feeling a little bit brain dead tonight. So with a much needed day off tommorow i'm having a quiet night in with more than several bottles of Black Sheep.
Tractorman810
knocking 2 new older members of staff into shape today, they seemed to have developed a distinct afliction to work, especially on what we do ,took me about 10 minutes to get up their noses after i told them to do something, one in one box the other in another, only 20 m apart, but it was the end of the world to them, both complained , and 1 rang my boss to say i wasnt helping them, he told them to get on with it, he asked for me to go with them see, knew i woul;d take no s*** from them ,job was done with a good few whinges, turns out they claimed they could not do the job 3 times before this visit, and it was so simple, apparently i am dealing with them next week to
