Does anyone have any hints for how to dismantle this tractor? I’ve tried to start with removing the back wheels but they have only shifted a few mm and will go no further!

Back wheels are now off - it took some work with a craft knife to the inside of the hubs to persuade the wheel to detach from the axle.  No need for chest expanders just get a Britains tractor and try and separate the back wheels 🥵

no idea how to dismantle it so i can get the front axle off though

Ive done quite a bit of dismantling to this but I can’t get the bonnet off.  It’s plastic so cautious about trying the flat screwdriver and hammer method

Hi,

Although i'm not familiar with this specific model, the last picture shows that the model consists of two pieces, two halves.
Illustrated by the centered line between them.
My first goal would be to try to disconnect the front grille and the hood.
Carefull though because they seem to be plastic parts!
Secondly i would try to look for the deeper holes in the chassis, in which both halves are connected, and drill them with a smell drill untill they come loose.
Here's a picture i found which shows an example of such a connection-point:

HOW TO DISASSEMBLE A HOT WHEELS - 1/64 SCALE | Custom Sixty Four

In a die-cast scale tractor-model there are mostly two to four of these connection-points (i don't know a good English word for it, sorry).
These mostly are located in the engine and in the gearbox-part.

But rule number one: always be extremely carefull!!!

Good luck, and keep us informed Joe!

Best regards,
Jan
