You'll say that until you spend a day choking on barley dust and the sun beating down on you, and spend a night trying to pick the chaff out of your hair!! >:(

James, James the majority of the time you would be cutting the dust would be blowing away from you, a bit of sun wouldn't do you any harm it would be better than sitting the sauna of a Cabcraft cab on a 1530 :D :D and as an extra bonus you'd get to listen to that roar of a 6cyl Perkins :-*

Suppose you were cutting a field and the wind was blowing straight up and down the way you were cutting, then youd be getting a faceful of dust at least half the time. And dont forget all the dust that can be blown on top of you when emptying into the trailer. They put the cabs on combines for a reason ie. to make them more comfortable. Its called progress, and progress cant be bad ;)

tipical MF combine NOT MOVING ;D ;D ;D ;D

Yes... as you see in the pic.. the farmer has finished his work for the day and is now resting... meanwhile... the JD, Claas, New Holland, Ford, drivers are all in the other fields standing by their machines... spanner in one hand, sctarching their heads wondering if they can get the "poxy" machine they are driving going again so they can finish half of the field and get home before midnight  ;)
