Tractorman810
phew i thought it was turning a bit queere when i saw what colour it was have you thought about using a jd4020 2wd front axel on the ford chassis at any time, like i used on the mf575,now that would look good
Mattias71
Dont worry mate, its in good hands Yep, that looks great indeed! I have just ordered two JQ:s and one Renault from Baernys just for those front axels. Have a 5000 to restore and need something in the front of the 9700 too. think i have to change the front axel on the 7600..... ???

Light Land
A tidy model for sure, the 7600 I drove off and on for a few years had a Q cab so the model must be of an early model,is that right?.

Indeed Ford safety cab versions made for about 9 months from 1975 to May

nashmach
the Q cab looks more inviting Yes as I think a pair of earmuffs are obligatory with the Ford safety cab :D
SMurF
Yes as I think a pair of earmuffs are obligatory with the Ford safety cab :D They sounded a lot quieter when you took the doors off and the back window. you only heard the engine then and not the cab rattling all over the place
archbarch
They sounded a lot quieter when you took the doors off and the back window. you only heard the engine then and not the cab rattling all over the place the doors kept the noise inside the cab
Tractorman810
i have herd that one before, on the fords saftey cab, and on some of the early fergy cabs to, i think all the early cabs after the law changed were just as bad according to bits i have read and herd from people
Mattias71
I remember our 5000 with saftey cab, just like Smurf says,it was mush better without doors and rear window...same thing with the MF 178.
Tractorman810
the bit in ct mag about the q cab laws said something similar to from memory

Tractorman810
i have to say i am giving serious consideration to doing a 2wd 6600 with bobble cab on it with the jd front axel, they used to have 2 on the farm next to my nans, when i was young, and they did look good
