Used to have a loader on ours and a forklift on the back which knocked hell out of the plastic. The back window was a pain so was locked up and then got broken Still got a few spares left like steering rams, axle pivot bushes etc - I'll have a look. Quote

Why the 550... - What is it you love about that particular tractor .. what do you do with them whats your opinion on the 230/240... or even the 135.... Sorry for the questions.. Guest MF 550 Posted February 27, 2007 Posted February 27, 2007 Good question Marky Ive drove all the massey 500 series apart from 595 565,575 and 590 i find very numb and slow and as for the hydrostatic steering good workhorses though Drove the 550 alot in the 80's as it was the only tractor county motors (massey dealers in carlisle) would hire out for cropping duties found it good to handle comfortable quiet and quite nifty with the 32" wheels As only 5600 of these models where ever built they can only get scarcer compared to 500,000 te's 250,000 35's and about 125,000 135's i would love to own a 135 but try and buy 1 at the price ther making at the moment,i have a 35x aswell but that is to be sold Quote
