Wasn't there only one built with that roof, the British Steel one? Did it ever have front weights?

Apparently a second genuine SQ cabbed 1884 came to light in the last year or two, and also there are a few knocking around with retro-fitted SQ cabs, so maybe Britains weren't that far off the mark. It would have been nicer with a proper Q roof alright, but you can see why Britains didnt do it that way, they already had the SQ cab and roof to fit that chassis

That is right there was one in quarry and the British Steel one ;)

I used to love getting the catalogue in the box, seems kind of like penny pinching to have stopped it. Although some models bought in my locality may not have had the catalogue in the box as a certain person might have been a bit too eager to see the new years releases and subtly liberated it from the box  :-[

I'm pretty sure this could be put down to environmental issues too, I would hate to think how many catalogues I would have thrown away in the last couple of years.
