Richard de Florennes
whey do you think so. Because of the harvester or does he like Renault tractors, too? ;-) Remember on of his pictures showing earlier stages of the 1:32 TIM harvester with a Renault tractor ... Pingu
Amazing pics there :P Got to love the 716 on the carrot harvester with a decent set of rear tyres ;D out of curiosity what is with the trailers being used to cart away the carrots? Richard de Florennes
The trailers are quite common here amongst carrot farmers, they use three different versions of transport of carrots here: 1: "normal" trailers (normally for direct transport to the large retailers and industrial users) 2: root trailers, these are emptied at the one end of the field and the whole carrot harvest is then covered by plastic for storage through the winter months 3: these special trailers shown here, containing four or five wooden boxes, each of them collecting one ton of carrots in around one minutes time (in case of a two-row carrot harvester), the whole carts are then brought to the farmer's storage house by the tractors, the wooden boxes are stored and new empty boxes are brought to the field to receive the next round of carrots ... The wooden boxes allow for space-saving storage of carrots. Amazing pics there :P Got to love the 716 on the carrot harvester with a decent set of rear tyres ;D out of curiosity what is with the trailers being used to cart away the carrots?
