Popular Post Tractorman810
second attempt at the doors, lost 5mm of the top parts height and to me they look better, so a test on the lower half now, fits ok,especially when you put the cab frame into its final place, next steps to get that padded look they had as they were canvis after all ,rather than this current flat steel look, then its on to door no 2 before i paint them both
Tractorman810
door 1 painted, fitted all the internal hand rails ect (cant see just yet) so all thats needed to finish is the white cladding/padding,also got door 2 setting glue wise, before handles and paint, need to start looking at the front screen top and bottom next, along with the cladding round the bonnet/ engine sides, plus a rolled up rear screen for the canopy before i paint this up as well. also putting together a decal order ,several things to finish so a big one😮

The dumper body is one off the last off them in Deutz green sprayed with white primer undercoat then a Halfords yellow enamel. Seems ok. I have a 5000 Major on the way that might need a few parts and a blue Shawne dumper. Purchased both together on Ebay. So I might need a few bits from Dave Towse too.

Mostly used for light work now and is backed up by a very odd coloured blue 390.!!!.. But its good to see these old classics style earning their keep.. Excellent interpretation of a drafty 70s Massey cab Sean. to be honest, with the rear roll down screen on,and the side flaps over the engine, they weren't that bad even in the winter. and great in the summer, easy off doors fold the front half back on the roof, cheap air con, yes noisy but a great noise . before that it was bad prob over the years it ended a good few farmers careers early
Tractorman810
received these in the post today, 3 d printed by someone we know well, the centres are adjustable and they look spot on for a 100 series now,the the hubs in the right place on the outer edge, and they pull the tyres back under the arches , also have 2 different cabs to try out for the 188 and the 135 , and a range of separate .100 series and 5/600 series wafer weights to try.
