Tractorman810
started the rear tailgate today, and realised that the rods to big, so resized that on the master, missed it on the checks , also included the latches on it as well plus the two bars that sit in the head board ,cant print those in one as its not flat. no rubber for the tyres yet, but did test the mould with resin and very happy, few air holes on one side, ( will be the inner) but all the details in them ,hubs not to bad either, bit deformed as i removed it a bit early, am trying a print on the hubs as well, just to see what can be done, but i have the option for either way i recon

Tractorman810
first full 8 ton assembly, and all fits well, also got my first full set of 4 tyres out of the second moulds, so now on its final tyres, just need to get a different rubber as i think this ones to soft, needs a bit more firmness to them. also got a question, last pics the stain i found to match the timber in the brouchure, question is, which one, left is 2 coats, middle is one,and last is plain.

Tractorman810
had a sudden brain surge, and got a second silver top, had the rear reflector of when it got here, so while it was out, got to say the steering on its crap, uh 2wd front axels aint great,i guess they are very fine, but this aint the 2720 one i thought would go on, ,the tie bar at the backs way to short (good cm i recon) so no real movement, bar turning them on the screws on the end of the axel which in turn will bugger the threads up and prob drop off ,certainly dont force them as breaking wont take much ,is spot on scale wise to its previous real deal, the replicagri 188 ,which is good ,
MDFord
Looks good with the rear wheels in the first pic Sean. Are they from the 1200? I'd like to change mine when it arrive, if I can get hold of a pair, as that's how I remember them, always used to like the 500's when I was a lad. Going by pics of these, should the wheels be as bright as they look - some pics almost make them look chrome silver. I thought Silver mist was the correct MF silver?? Have to agree about UH 2wd axles, wheels are usually splayed out or wonky
Tractorman810
first pics a set of uh 1200’s ,second a printed set in silver mist, as a lad all i saw were the gkn style hubs(the 1200’s) maybe not as wide a tyre on them, but that hub, never saw a patv one, they are a bit silvery, not as bad as some pics, like you say some do look almost chrome at times .

First set look very good. Second look ok also, but the tyres seem alittle chunky for that style rim. They seem more the rim common to a 165, 265 or 565.. Whi printed those wheels Sean? Wouldnt mind a couple of pairs of those

sipher172
I got this a while ago but I didn't like the wheels. After trying every alternate set of wheels I have, I settled on keeping the rears and switching the front wheels to a spare pair of Marge wheels. Other than the wheels the model is pretty impressive.

Tractorman810
little tinkering between jobs shes got me doing, but rain stopped play, for 10 mins at least. this is what i got the brushwood 575 for, as i thought the twist is actually mis fitted floorpan, so the tractors good for the other job, also tried some new timber in the trailers, ,used to drive this set up each harvest when younger, till the ransomes got replaced as the floor was getting a bit thin in places ,with a brian legg monocoque , but we kept it as chicken feed storage at the back of the barn just had a sheet across the floor
Hajo
A few weeks ago I started a simple project on one of my favorite Britains tractors, a Deutz DX4.57. I always wanted a model with mudguards on the front wheels, so I modified another Britains front axle to fit. Unfortunately still waiting for the decals, so no end result yet.

Tractorman810
proper print no 2 ,lowered the height by 5mm, so sits a lot better visually. also done the door tops and amazingly they have fitted first time, so now to look at the door bottoms, has a slightly longer roof which also now sits properly, and all lines up to the side parts
